This is not an official review or whatsoever, this is just mainly my thinking about the game : Project Diva.

The vocaloids finally found their way, through SEGA, into our handheld devices, PSP. In Project Diva, Miku, Luka, Rin, Len and fanmade vocaloids all come alive dancing on your screen. Well at least, without the notes it'll be just the MV.
Project Diva scores in gameplay. The gameplay is someone similar to DS's Elite Beat Agents, whereby you wait for the circle to close in before hitting it with the stylus. PD however, uses the 4 buttons, Triangle , Circle, Square and X to utilize this. The graphics were pretty decent, and the gameplay really put me in a tight spot for a moment.



The game is a little choppy on note spamming parts, but it did not really hinder the gameplay. The characters are all really cute, besides this there are also over 200 or 300++ fan art of Hatsune Miku in the game itself. Oh, did I mention you don't get combos until you hit something like a "perfect" ? Yeah now I did. Another thing that contradicts this game will be.. on some occasions in-game the bright lights in the background make it difficult to see the notes, followed by massive shaking of the cameras which make your head go @_@ for awhile.

Songwise, I've heard some titles myself like Soar, Miku Miku Shitageru, Levan Polka, Dead End and Electric Angel. The selection is somewhat limited but still it's roughly a little lesser then DJmax.

One additional thing that caught my eye is the Customize menu. Really, I mean CUSTOMIZE. You can put a .mp3 format song into your PSP/MUSIC folder and it'll appear in the customize menu. You then can add which Vocaloid you want for the PV, add the actions, like dancing, expressions and stuff, and to finish it off with the note charts. I did not fully abuse this yet cause for one thing, I don't understand Japanese.

Lastly, there is the room edit function. Basically this for those simulation lovers. Decorate your vocaloids' homes, add stuff and see them interact with it. Awesomely cute.


Thats it for my review. A good game, for those in for a little challenge.

School opens in 2 days, thinking about the current h1n1 situation... I don't know if what the government did was right. It jumped almost threefold in 2 days, from the 200+ to the current 400+. At this rate, it will jolly well hit 500 by tomorrow.

Anyway, today Howard , QS and me went to bugis. Howard had free tickets to the Mint Museum of toys and I wanted to visit Bras Basah art complex to get some stuff for my art. I did not have enough money to enter mint though. So Qs and I wandered around Bras Basah and I a new set of paint brushes. We saw a shop selling guitars, $5000 for one is no joke...

Qs got hungry so we dropped by cheers, for a quick break while waiting for howard to be done. We then met up with him and we went to Bugis Street to look at some stuff. We then headed to sunshine plaza. I saw a Nagi Nenodroid and I felt like getting it but I was tight on cash and anyway, Black Rock Shooter PVC figure is on it's way soon. I also have to save for AFA 2009 ...

We then headed to bugis junction for Dinner, then we headed home. Thats about today.

o levels coming in 3 months time. What the hell am I doing? Playing computer all night!! Help please!! I'm addicted.. I can't stop myself from playing. I mean, I did study a little, that much that the ratio of the hours I spend on it compared to the computer is 2:11...

I am going.. to fail... I don't get anything when I looked at the Maths paper. What should I do??

Today, we went to celebrate phong su's belated birthday. We all had a hard time deciding on a movie to catch before we finally decided on "The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3". I was the first to arrive and seeing that no one is there, I walked around comics connection and mega multimedia. I went out and saw Yz.

The storyline of this movie is kind of direct and predictable, but what kept me at the edge of the seat this time is the action! Words almost can't describe it. Basically, the movie is about a group of terrorists taking of the subway train Pelham 123 and holding hostages for a ransom of $10,000,000. The mayor is a fat bastard who thinks only for himself.

The terrorists commanded a black guy, Walter and he is a hero for saving the hostages life. The police chases and fast paced actions are all freaking awesome. Practically I can't tell if it's CG or not. Crashes here and there, given by a time limit of 1 hour, Walter needs to deliver the money to the terrorists. This movie is terribly awesome.

Today a group of us went out to buy Phong Su's birthday present. We met at around 1.30 at bedok MRT but I was late... anyway, we went to Marina Square to be surprised by how "not much" people are there despite the IT fair.

We had a really hard time deciding on a gift before Yz, Xk, Keegan chose 2 shirts for him. Howard, Andy, Jater and me went to John Littles to buy phong su a lucky boxer LOL! After that we slacked around going to the arcade. The stupid UFO catcher is totally impossible to get.

We then bid each other goodbye before howard and I went to carls Jr for dinner. The woman and the counter was so bad a pronoucing words that I can only hear "hi welcome to carls juniorrr" she was like mumbling and in the end I bought Onion Rings instead of Fries.

Hey look, first day of study camp.. today was really not my day. I got up at 7.30am and I left my house in a rush at 7.50am. I waited for the bus to arrive. There was alot of people waiting for the bus as well and me, being kanchiong number 1, decided to cut in front of them all. I saw a double Decker bus chugging along and was wondering, "since when 291 got double decker?"

I then saw the number, " Premium 544 " and without thinking, I boarded it thinking it is a peak hour bus as many of the people got up as well. It was driving the usual path, then it WENT straight when it was supposed to go to the Tampines Interchange. I asked the bus uncle " er, this bus going where? "

"Orchard" was his reply. He quickly let me down the bus as I rushed back to Tampines Interchange. In the end, I was late for study camp.. for half and hour. It was boring almost the whole day.

The morning was dramatic and scary. I'm afraid of 544 now ):.

Today I literally dragged myself out of bed. The bed was just so comfortable to be sleeping on. But in the end I managed to wake up and went to school for art. I arrived at 8.30, surprised that the Art room is yet to be opened.

I waited for Mdm Faz to arrive then started to do our art. We then went for lunch at around 12.30pm and after that I followed Howard to shop for new contact lenses.

Tomorrow I'm again, going to the new house to study. It's like a mini-study class now, with so many people wanting to go.. Sigh. Till then.

Okay, how does it feel like when you see your kindergarten classmate for so many years and she doesn't even remember you? I mean, I never tried to talk to her, but she never even looked at me and feel that "Hey I know you" that kind of look. She grew more prettier but the "bitch" feeling was implanted in my memories after her tomboyish acts back then.

Anyway, today I woke up at 8.30am.. feeling weird cause nobody is at home. My maid went back to Indonesia to visit her family and well... I have to settle breakfast and lunch myself. I arrived in the Art room at around 9+ and started my work.


I was really concentrated in my art because there is so little people today. After that, we met up with the usual gang who has just taken their O level mother tongue paper. I heard it's "okay" for them, well, good luck to all of them.

We then headed for lunch together and then I went home.
