Today is Day 1 of AFA! (Anime Festival Asia)
Yeah, what's an anime festival without cosplays huh? Here are some cosplays we encountered, starting from left, agito , toshiro, Kon, forgotten who and hollow ichigo. They're cosplays aren't that bad, but I can't say it is good either. Basically, we reached suntec city at 9am. We thought we are early, but when we reached the expo , we nearly shit our pants at the queue. THE PRE-ORDER QUEUE IS SO DARN LONG...
We waited for almost 45 minutes and we are finally allowed to enter the premises. The first thing that caught our attention is the gundam booth. Look at the size of that thing! Its gianormous!
YEAH. It's a gundam figure. I bet it's scale 10/100 or something.
So basically, we just walked around like mad and we saw the display for "alter" the company that makes figurines. I saw a Hatsune Miku Nendroid and it was like... OMG.. I WANT ONE.

So we found a booth that has like a thousand (being sarcastic) people and we went to that shop. I saw Hatsune Miku and Kagamine Rin's 1/8 painted figure and I was thinking about getting it or not. Till that booth owner told me, the Hatsune Miku and Kagamine Rin comes at a set, 2 for $58. My instinct at that moment was. OKAY IM BUYING IT. Yes. I bought it with my sister. She gets kagamine rin and I got my favorite character Hatsune Miku. We saw Danny and Kane a few times and seriously it got really funny when Danny finds things on the floor. First he found a $5 note and then , a book. How amusing.
The most awesome thing is seeing Reza (used to work at gaming world tampines) and his sister. He's gay as ever but we had a good chat before leaving. Then we walked around once more and we reached a store showing Japanese Movies. I saw on the wall :

Shana's ceremony ver.To be honest. I once went on a craze finding this version for Shana. No wonder it went out of stock so quickly. AFA BOUGHT THEM ALL ): . But here she is, now on my shelf. You see a happy face on me :D.

My thoughts Now are : I spent quite alot of money at AFA. As you read from my previous post, I'm going to try to be less spend-trift and save more money. Anway, AFA was really fun and worth the time queueing outside to get in. Tomorrow May'n, the new singer and voice actor for a character in Macross Frontier, will be singing on stage Live and we'll be there to check it out. Hope i can upload a video of it.
