Ye-ha, This is gonna be a long post about the days in Japan. Things i gonna comment about japan:
1) CLEAN. I hardly see rubbish on the floor.
2) School there is so slack, they say after you join University, = no school , CCA all.
3) 90% people there are fit. Most girls have an hourglass figure.
4) Japanese love their rice and they think it's the best.
5) Japanese people are polite... something as cheap as 100yen, they can bow to you 3-4 times.
So basically, the first day of my trip, we arrived at Changi Airport at around 8pm. We sat there for 2 hours while waiting for the boarding signal to light up, We entered the plane and seriously, Singapore Airlines...... WAS THE AIRCON ON AT ALL? I was sweating so badly in the plane and i had to lie on the window to sleep as it is cold. We arrived in Kansai Airport at 7am the next day, we were kinda lost. Then we realise we had to take a sky train to the arrival hall. Lol.
Our first destination in Japan is the universal studios. It was about an hour's drive from Kansai Airport and wow, the weather was damn good. It was 21degrees but the wind blowing is COOOLLLDD. In the bus I saw the YAHOO sign where Razor Ramen, Hardo Gay performed in the "Yahoooooooo" show :
We arrived at universal studios and 9am and we walked slowly to the entrance. The place is so clean that i see butterflies everywhere. No rubbish, No dusbins. Japan technology is so good that the 4D shows that were airing in Singapore were treated like trash. the "Terminator 2 Ride" was freaking awesome. Too bad i could not take a video of it. I walked pass the toilet once and i saw this strange telephone. I then realise it was a handphone charger. Super Cool. but nothing fits sony ericsson. LOL
I skipped plenty of rides cause their pretty kiddy. I sat in E.T ... etc etc. Then i came to the Spiderman Ride. The queue time was 70Minutes and i decided to take the challenge and queued up with my mother, aunty ah zhu and her friend's daughter. The queue was so freaking long and we almost wanna suicide halfway through. It was worth the wait in the end and the ride was the best.. I SAY BEST!!! When spiderman jumps on the "car' the whole thing bents downwards and when waterman sprays water at us, WE GOT SOAKED. There was fire and we felt hot. Awesome... We went around till 4pm and we gathered and went off to our next destination: Dotonmori Shopping street in Osaka (read Osaka as OHHHHH saka). It's like a 100x Orchard road and food heaven. Takoyaki, Okayaki , tendon, mm, food food food. The street wasn't so packed at first but at 6pm , dinner time/peak hours, people started flooding the streets.
I did not eat the food there as well, dinner time is close so i followed my Mother and tour guide Lily around. Lily is a nice woman, she is funny and she understands how I feel when i could not get any anime figurines lol. Somewhat, she loves wearing black.
Guess what, our favorite japanese comedy show is being shown: Gaki no Tsukai!! D:
We left Dotonmori and went for dinner, Mm steam boat. I ate quite alot, 2 bowls of rice. And wow. Lily pointed towards a picture full of handsome guys. Those with cloud's hairstyles. I thought it was some ad until Lily told us, this are "ducks". I was like WOW? Ducks are so suai? lol. And i saw plenty of adult shops, meaning that the alley in Dotonmori was a little red light district and the Japanese were pretty open about it. We went to rest in Ramada Hotel for the night. Lily told us we were be shifting hotels everyday, and sigh.. The water from the tap is clean enough for drinking so cooking water is kinda a waste of time.
The next morning we left early for Heian Shrine (平安神). When we arrived there, we had to wash our hands and rinse our mouths at a fountain. There was a bunch of girls and guys in Kimono and Lily-san explained to us that when a child in the family reaches 20 years old, They must come to Heian Shrine to pray for marriage and peace.
i feel so fucked up when buying a drink from a store. That ass seller wont let me take another straw when buying a drink. He INSISTED that i buy another drink. What for? I ignored him and went up to the bus. We headed for Kiyomizu Temple (清水苗)there was another shopping street there and they sold Black sesame biscuit, icecream.. it was
delicious.
We headed up to the temple at the end of the shopping street.
and yup, at the bottom left side are students on a field trip. We prayed to GuanYing and then we went to the fountain where there were 3 streams. (Seen this in Lucky star? , see it real!) The first stream represents Longlivity , the center, Romance and the last studies, I drank from the studies stream and I hope it works, haha.
We left Kiyomizu temple and headed off for dinner. We ate BBQ, and it's like Seoul garden in singapore. We left the place and headed off for Westin Hotel near Nagoya Castle. It was around an hours drive and I appreciated the driver, Miyano-san as he has to drive back 3 hours to his home and then 3 hours back again to ferry us the next day. and yeah, this is Nagoya castle, from our hotel window's view :
The next day is all travel cause, we're heading over to Mount Fuji. 4 hours in the bus and luckily Lily-san showed us a video called "Howl's moving castle" I watched it before but I just watched it again as I was bored. We stopped by for lunch, Ramen!!!
and some pics of 2000+m above sea level, on Fuji-san (Mt.fuji, respect is used on Mount Fuji)
The temperature up there is freaking scary. At ground level it is 18 Degrees and at 2000m : 4-8 Degrees. I can see my breath when breating and it was fun. LOL.
After descending Fuji-san, we headed to another shrine in Tokyo, called Asakosa temple. As usual, there is a shopping street there. Lily-san told us that japanese people called their Macdonalds : Makudonana. (Ma-ku-don-nana). It sounded nice and funny at the same time. We then headed to see Tokyo tower. Lily-san told us it wasn't worth the money to spend 800yen to go up to The tower to see the city views, She said she will bring us to the office building in Shinjuku at night. We headed over to Keio plaza in shinjuku ( our hotel ). We checked in and everyone gathered downstairs. Lily-san brought us to the office building which was 42 stories high and, wahla, THE AWESOME night view of Tokyo.
The next day we went to Disney Land. For kids. Bwah.. Lily-san promised me and she brought me and my mother to Akibahara that day to shop for my anime needs and Qi Sheng's shopping list. Akibahara , The home of anime, was given the right name. One shop is enough for me to satisfy my needs. I was thinking, if Qi sheng was here, he will go mad and start tearing everything down from shelfs till his wallet broke into 3 pieces. The building which i brought anime stuff from was called "Animate" It was a freaking 8 Story building, and every floor is around 2x the size of MAGE, filled with anime goodness. I saw something qisheng wanted for so long but could not buy it there but , for money's stake, I only bought what he needed.
There was a "hentai" display at the basement as i saw the notice. I wasn't allowed to go there, of course. My mouth was drooling after leaving Animate. There was a freaking shopping center for anime goods!!! An anime museum!!! Time constricts and i did not have the time to see any of them. I bought my gifts and went back to Disney land for kiddy rides since my ticket is already bought.
Then came the last day haha. Did take some photos, just that they aren't nice. We went to AEON shopping center and i got some 2nd Handed anime stuff there, for a really cheap price, Arcuied Barustuied 1/8 painted figure cost me around 5000 yen and another smaller 1 for 700 Yen. After the time had came, we went to Nairita airport and flew home.. We arrived back in singapore, dirty , hot and rude people. OMG> I MISS JAPAN ALREADY. SHIP ME BACK THERE>>>>>
